Was it all a LIE?

I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

CORONA VIRUS AND THE WORRIES IT COMES WITH

This deadly virus that emanated from China has brought a lot of fears across the world. It is so clear to the layman person exactly what it is or how it contracts into a human. This has led people now not to shake hands like they used to, fear anyone who coughs whether slightly or heavily or even sneezes. Amazingly where I attend church, the All Saints cathedral, had sanitize rs at the entrance before anyone accessed the church, one had to sanitize his or her hands. This was impressive to see of how people are cautious of what they may be getting themselves into. Today morning as I was getting myself mandazi from our mandazi vendor, someone happened to cough around that area and a woman happened to tell him to kindly move away or cover your mouth. Now all we can think of is buy hand sanitize rs, it is no longer needed in hospitals now. Let us all be cautious of how we interact with one another,    always clean ones hands if when not about to eat, just always be clean, ...

Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand. Last night was AFCON final game Then Kenya ’s former Gor Mahia’s coach, Ghost Mulee can’t be maintained, It has become a trend now that our football teams keep changing local coaches with coaches coming from Westernized countries. Who even decides on this? Now that Kenya is an election year and the next leaders will take their seats come August 2022, it is a challenge for the upcoming leaders to work on seeing another sport bring Kenya to the Limelight in Africa let alone in the world, or should we just stick to Athletics?
