I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

Happy International Mothers Day   9th May 2021 Today marks International Mother's Day. Every 9th of May we get to celebrate all our mothers. No human would claim to come through any other way apart from through a mother who gave birth to her .  There are however those who live with their adoptive parents, in the streets or children's homes. Either way, there will always be someone who stands in as a mum. It could be your adoptive mother, someone who offers you shelter and basic needs, gives you school fees, or ensures you have a decent livelihood.  We are living in a digital world where some people may be living abroad or in the diaspora. Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand. Last night was AFCON final game Then Kenya ’s former Gor Mahia’s coach, Ghost Mulee can’t be maintained, It has become a trend now that our football teams keep changing local coaches with coaches coming from Westernized countries. Who even decides on this?
