In my opinion its not a normal 'kawaida' thing to go to class for a period of time and get to the end of a course. It takes God to start with, determination, willingness and the passion to study that which you are being taught.
It's not that fun been in class, been attentive, waking up early to attend classes and study at night or early morning when people when are deeply asleep and resting. It's a huge sacrifice of all alot of things for those who succeed.
I give God all the glory and honor for enabling me battle it all and emerge victorious. Its all by His power, not by my might.
What I would like to encourage someone reading this and perhaps you who didn't do well in your O'Levels or K.C.S.E is that there is hope you too can get there if you are willing to.And for your information you didn't fail,no one is a failure in this earth and do not let it get into your head.Failure is just the omission of expected or required action.People who maybe your parents, siblings or relatives may have expected you to get from a C+ grade and above but you didn't get there. Many of us including me who did our K.C.S.E in earlier years didn't get there perhaps we even got a lower grade than you but because we believed we are more than conquerors we didn't just sit there.
Just to give you a sneek peek of my life story after I got out of high school with my low grade, yes i was low and asked God why but you know life has to move irregardless of whatever happens. So with the support of my mum and siblings i figured out what i enjoyed doing and loved being.Hence i went out to look for schools that offered courses along that line. And yes I began campus from Certificate level which I studied for a whole year,I passed with a Credit grade and applied for a Diploma in the same campus,I was enrolled studied for two and a half years passed again with a Credit and I didn't stop there.I applied for a Bachelors in Applied Communication which i started studying in September 2012.When i graduated for for my diploma on 19th September 2014,the first graduation ceremony for Multimedia University of Kenya i really was looking forward to wear the cap on my degree graduation and i am glad i was in my final semester which was ending that December. What made me sad is that I had to wait to feel that joy till the next year in October.
I am glad because Time is with the Lord and it finally came and last month on the 23rd October I was awarded the powers to read and write. You could not imagine the joy in my heart.Words couldn't tell it all.It has been a journey starting from Certificate level and never quitting till I got here.
I thank God for the mind of concentration and energy to push it all,not forgetting my mum,who has been there for me through it all both financially and emotionally.
Young people never give up on yourselves. There is hope if you put God first. No matter what always keep in mind Jeremiah 29:11 'For i know the plans I have for you,"declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'
Be Blessed,Shalom!
