I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. #Lesson2

So today my church,All Saints Cathedral had organised a luncheon for graduands of 2013-2015.It was fun I got to connect with new  people,laugh?got full,the food there was so yummy and last of all,I got of there blessed.

The speaker of the event,Rev.Kamau who happens to be comical in his sermons got his sermon from Ecclessiastes 12:1

'Remember your Creator
In the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come
and the years approach when you
will say
"I find no pleasure in them" '

The luncheon was to give us an opportunity to give thanks to God for letting us to go through school and come to an end of it.

What hit me most Is that we should not only thank God for finishing school and graduating but also thank him for giving you the brains to absorb What we study and are able to concentrate on our studies.That ain't an obvious thing,its only God who does it,without him its impossible.Always remember to thank God for the little things that seem obvious to us.

According to Fox News,The Pope visits War -Torn Africa.Yes we know a few countries in Africa have had war or violence in the past but it doesn't mean we still face it. Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand. Last night was AFCON final game Then Kenya ’s former Gor Mahia’s coach, Ghost Mulee can’t be maintained, It has become a trend now that our football teams keep changing local coaches with coaches coming from Westernized countries. Who even decides on this? Now that Kenya is an election year and the next leaders will take their seats come August 2022, it is a challenge for the upcoming leaders to work on seeing another sport bring Kenya to the Limelight in Africa let alone in the world, or should we just stick to Athletics?
