I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. Who said its all about that??

There is this Kenyan mentality that when one is done with school you have to be hired or be under someone.I personally totally disagree with this notion.School leavers can also be employers as long as they have the idea of what they want to do,passion for it and the willingness to see it run.

I just wish parents especially will train the younger generation to grow knowing that you don't have to be employed.After all unemployment is one of Kenya's hurdles,majority of Kenyans aren't employed yet they got the qualifications and skills for the jobs they apply.This is brought about by corruption and nepotism that goes around in schools.

If we were innovative/creative and had the will to start up firms in our areas of specializations then Kenya would now be a developed country.

Schools should also introduce that aspect of encouraging pupils and students to think without the box because you don't have to land on a job when you apply for it despite having the qualifications.

Infact it is more fulfilling employing oneself or rather been your own boss than being employed.
So let's Think big for a greater satisfaction in our lives as a whole.

Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand. Last night was AFCON final game Then Kenya ’s former Gor Mahia’s coach, Ghost Mulee can’t be maintained, It has become a trend now that our football teams keep changing local coaches with coaches coming from Westernized countries. Who even decides on this?
