Was it all a LIE?
You would almost go into tears imaginining what the children of Garissa town go through especially in the education sector.
Looking at their classrooms, shortage of quality teachers in their schools both at primary and secondary level from ntv's feature a couple of weeks ago is so disheartening.
All children should get quality education in the whole country.Garissa's classrooms almost look like shanty's from their look, from the feature some teachers said that classes are forced to be postponed when it rains as the classrooms rooftops are not strong enough to prevent water from going into the classrooms, not just that even most of the classrooms walls too are incomplete or not totally covered like they should be.
I hope the leaders of this country get to watch this features and plan towards changing the situation. As individuals too we should try and find ways to end such menaces and do something to make education more decent all over Kenya.
Personally I will attending the cake festival at Kenya Wildlife Services headquarters,Langata on 11th January 2016.The cake festival is an event put up to assist bright and poor children to go to school.Children are the future of tomorrow hence Let's take an individual step to assist those that cannot make it to class as Education is the major force of change and development for a better tommorrow.
