Was it all a LIE?

I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

Poor Millionaires

Athletes have always been Kenya's pride since time immemorial to this day and age. It’s a shame getting to see one of the athletes looking and living poor after winning races and being paid handsomely for it.
Such should never happen and should not even be expected. Why would  a lawyer who has not stood with him in his rising to be a star just show up when he has accomplished so much and rob him of his wealth.

People wake up and sweat to get their daily bread while others just ride on other people's glory. This athlete must have been waking up as early as 5am to practice for his races, exercise and be fit getting ready for his races.

Image result for daniel komen photosDaniel Komen must be a sad man now thinking of how he worked hard to get to where he was , a successful athlete that put Kenya's name at the tops. Getting to be called a silver medalist is not a joke, it is an achievement worked for.

I hope the case been taken up by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) will work out good for him to have his 150million back and also be able to live a normal and decent life.

I felt for his wife, seeing her cry at only 30 years of her life .She looked miserable and worried especially because his husband didn't know what he was doing when he brought in Lawyer Isaac Terer into his life.

I would wish that the government puts in a school of financial management for all our Kenyan athletes in light of what Mr. Komen is facing. Most of our athletes don't have substantial education and hence they can easily be misled into misusing their money.

Once the athletes get to their top heights they should retain their glory because they surely deserve it and have worked for it. Let one try and put them down.
