Was it all a LIE?

I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

KeNHA opting for plastic signage to beat vandalism

The use of metal signage's was obviously the best option since they are more long lasting than plastic ones. But the public gets opportune time to uproot them and sell them off as scrap metal to get easy money.

But the lack of job opportunities in this country has led to all of this disruptions. If only young people were given platforms at whatever qualification one has then our country would be a safe to be.

As young people we should be open to starting up things, thinking outside the box and not only waiting to be employed. This should start from how we bring up our young ones, training them that one can be an employer not just an employee. It is very disheartening seeing people with degree, masters and P.H.D qualifications roaming in the streets without jobs or merely working as a sales man/woman.But again they end having no choice but hanging on there and working on what they have.

Goods and services on the other hand have blown out to higher charges, walking into the supermarket and everything seems to be charged a shilling or two more. Now fuel charges are set to rise.It is just unbearable. What to do? Where to turn to?

Again getting jobs in this day and age the so called 'godfathers' are a plus but what happens to the child whose parent's don't know the who's and who's.

I think all that is left is study and have the papers to yourself.one might be lucky to land the dream job or not.If not always be armed with ideas, hobbies that can be turned into careers, that's the Way forward, the Way to go.
