Was it all a LIE?

I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

The feature shown yesterday on Citizen TV at 7pm and 9 pm was such an eye opener to all Kenyans and even the government as to how Corona Virus is spreading in the country. The cessation of movement placed by His Excellency the President seems not to have a major impact on Kenyans staying at home and putting in all the measures placed by the government to keep oneself from contracting the deadly Coronavirus. Purity Mwambia, an investigative journalist with Citizen TV did the feature "virusisafarini '' which has stirred a lot of insights especially from Kenyans on Twitter commonly known as K.O.T. It is sad that hardly anyone will  stand up for her, not even the media council of Kenya, by now they should have watched the clip if at all it was not watched by any of their officials yesternight when the feature was aired during news time.  This story was so impactful as you and I as Kenyans should be in the forefront in fighting this pandemic. What's With Kibera Slum

Covid-19 Virus has led the government to close down certain counties and in specific certain towns out of how fast the virus is spreading there in. Nairobi, Mombasa and Mandera had a lock down and that was extended on 6th June 2020. Eastleigh and Old Town Mombasa environs were also closed down and no one could go in and out for a period until the President announced its opening as from 7th June 2020. The puzzle is why is the President not commenting about Kibera and all the infections that have been announced there in.  Is there something that blocks its close down. Yes Kibera slum has a lot of 'panya  routes' of going in and out but besides that what is the matter. The other query is Raila Odinga has hardly said anything about the matter. The last time i checked Raila stated in one of his rallies that Kibera is his bedroom. Majority of his political supporters hail from the slum. Now all is mum, all the questions of how comes Kibera slum is not being closed down from the medi...

According to Fox News,The Pope visits War -Torn Africa.Yes we know a few countries in Africa have had war or violence in the past but it doesn't mean we still face it. Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand. Last night was AFCON final game Then Kenya ’s former Gor Mahia’s coach, Ghost Mulee can’t be maintained, It has become a trend now that our football teams keep changing local coaches with coaches coming from Westernized countries. Who even decides on this? Now that Kenya is an election year and the next leaders will take their seats come August 2022, it is a challenge for the upcoming leaders to work on seeing another sport bring Kenya to the Limelight in Africa let alone in the world, or should we just stick to Athletics?
