I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

BBI Night Of Shock

After the court ruling on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) on the night of 13th May 2021, what is the fate of BBI being implemented. Too many hopes, dreams and aspirations from the document, is it all gone? Being a Kenyan Youth who has being affected by the unemployment menace, I wonder who will speak again for us.

Inside the BBI document was the aspect of youth who had start up businesses not being taxed for the first 7 years of their business operations. That was such a Great thing to me and am sure to many other Kenyans. The BBI document spoke to Kenyans in one way or another.

Some people agreed with it while others were against it. Now the courts have made their ruling after the County governments, Parliament and the Senate Houses passing the BBI Bill. All eyes are now set to the President of Kenya and the former Prime Minister,  Raila Odinga to give their feedback after hearing the court ruling.

Will it be all over? Or will the song go on - ' No Body Can Stop Reggae'.

Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand. Last night was AFCON final game Then Kenya ’s former Gor Mahia’s coach, Ghost Mulee can’t be maintained, It has become a trend now that our football teams keep changing local coaches with coaches coming from Westernized countries. Who even decides on this? Now that Kenya is an election year and the next leaders will take their seats come August 2022, it is a challenge for the upcoming leaders to work on seeing another sport bring Kenya to the Limelight in Africa let alone in the world, or should we just stick to Athletics?
