Was it all a LIE?

I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

Unemployment menace could be the cause to the low turn out of people registering for their voters cards

The voter's card registration ends on 2nd November 2021 with a very low turnout of Kenyans going to register themselves as voters. Voting is a democratic right, no doubt to that. But why are people not just enthusiastic about doing so when the next elections are fast approaching.

Kenya as well as the rest of the world are faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy has gone down and prices of commodities keep escalating. Life has now become so unbearable with people not being able to balance their money among their basic needs. This includes then having a decent living, buying food, getting one's children a quality education, and keeping an amount of money for future purposes (savings).

The meme below is not something to laugh about. It is the high rates of unemployment that lead people to such kinds of acts. This is not just in Kenya but on a global scale....so Mr. Politician why should I take a vote just because you keep repeating your government will provide employment opportunities, yet when you get the seats, all you care about is how fat your pocket fattens...this should just stop, let the youth be empowered and not given false promises ...Punda imechoka.
