I call my mum as usual before I sleep on 21st June 2022 and gives me the news that they received their annual bonus earlier than expected. But why Munya? Over the year CS Munya has promised tea farmers of better pay but alas they receive their bonus In June when it is supposed to be released in October as the norm. Is the national elections leading to all of this changes. But why the reduction in the bonus payment.   The dollar seems to rise and as tea is exported, they expected a rise in their payments because the pay is supposedly higher. I really hope the presidential candidates this year are keen on seen this drastic drop in tea farmers bonuses. The current president uhuru Kenyatta should also comment on why the change of the prices, why the bonus came earlier than expected and why the promise from the promise from the government on getting a higher bonus rate was not fulfilled. This is such a bad feeling for all the tea farmers especially now that it is coming ...

My Opinion on the e-Citizen online services portal

e-Citizen is such a great platform where one can access almost all government services especially those that expire in a short period of say an year that includes the Higher education loans board clearance certificate,certificate of good conduct from the directorate of criminal investigations, passport application and renewal among others.

What is depressing especially for the youth is the loads of money they have to part yet most of the applications made via e-Citizen are mostly when they looking for jobs or government opportunities such as tenders.In my opinion the jobless should waived for the charges stated as they appear and actually are exorbitant for the 'kawaida' Kenyan.

Kenya should borrow a Leaf from Westernized countries

  Just look at the additional jobs last month in the U.S, while we still wailing over the unemployment menace in Kenya...are our leaders ever curious about how to get here? Will we ever get here? Guess that remains a rhetorical question as to where we stand.
